Samuel and Allison discussed family and children before their marriage 24 years ago this loving Christian couple commented that one day they would like to adopt. Sam and Allison relate, “A few years after our daughter Abigail was diagnosed with autism, we came back around to those early discussions and decided we wanted to pursue adoption. We went through all the paperwork and training and came home from China with Noemi in 2011.”

While Sam serves as pastor of their church, Allison works occasionally as a substitute teacher at Faith Christian Academy. She serves as Children’s Director at church and homeschools Noemi (13) who will soon be having a final major surgery for her cleft lip and palate. They also parent three older biological teenagers, Samuel (19), Caleb (18), and Abby (17). An elder in their church writes, “Sam has a drive to show the Lord’s love in every way but especially adoption. I believe he understands the love of Jesus and how we, as believers, are adopted into the family of God. Sam has exhibited a correct role in his family as the head of the house and a passionate leader. He is a loving, caring, and providing husband and father.”

Allison shares, “Now Sam and I look at what we have and the time we have been blessed with and feel God has called us to adopt again, this time siblings from Colombia. We are excited to grow our family once again through adoption. We want to obey how the Lord is leading us to take care of the orphans and widows.”
