Joshua and Shannon Abby are a hard-working, out-going, loving, disciplined, Christian couple with l eadership skills. Josh works at Realvolve, Inc., doing Software Sales for real estate agents. Shannon works for Christian Medical Center in Patient Resources. She says that she meets women in crisis who have unplanned pregnancies every day. She has been on mission trips to San Diego, Haiti, and Uganda.
They both serve in the church children’s ministry with the three and four year olds. They also host a weekly group. In their free time, the Abbys enjoy roller blading, hiking, camping, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
In their adoption testimony the Abbys write: “ God began revealing to us both how so many children desperately need the safety and love of a family. After having another m iscarriage shortly after the first, Josh and I began have more serious discussions and praying about how we wanted to move forward. We desire to pursue Christ first in everything we do and in every decision we make, so together, we prayed and sought guidance and wisdom from His word.”
The Abby’s pastor wholeheartedly recommends them by writing: “ Josh has been a committed member of our church, serving in our youth ministries for over 8 years. He is currently serving in our worship as a musician and vocalist. He has demonstrated being faithful over a long period of time, often giving up to 10 hours of his personal time per week. Josh and Shannon are highly favored people in our church. T heir love overflows and is evident to those in observance.”
